According to the Lad bible, this coating was tested on humans and mice and “was able to prevent UV rays penetrating through the skin.”
Evers and his team hope to have this coatings technology used in the future on the coaters used on automobiles and medical equipment.
“We have been working on this for years, and I am confident that we can develop this technology,” Ever said.
Evers says that the technology was developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is responsible for standardizing the use of solar energy and other solar materials in products.
The coating is being used to create the coating for a range of applications, including automotive, medical, and other industries.
“There is an amazing amount of interest from industries and manufacturers in using these coatings,” Eters said.
“We believe that this technology can be an incredible boon to the industries that use this coating.”
