The director and producer of ‘Machete Man’ and ‘The Hurt Locker’ joins the cast of “Meltdowns” as the new host of “The Art of Manliness,” the newest series on the Emmy-winning MTV series.
The first episode airs Wednesday, May 4, at 8 p.m.
ET on MTV.
“Macho” stars Krasinsky, who also stars in the “Machetes” movies, “Manslaughter” and “Catch Me if You Can.”
He also appeared in “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.”
“Molt” star Michael Madsen will appear as a consultant.
“Man From U, U,” directed by Matthew Vaughn, stars Tom Hardy, Ben Affleck, Chris Pine, Michael Pena, Jai Courtney and Jai Rush.
“The Hurt, Locker,” directed with Vaughn, was the first episode of “PBS’s ‘Movies, TV and Music” series, which debuted in 2007.
The network will broadcast the new series through May 8.
“We’ve got a great team, and I think it’s going to be a blast,” Krasinksi said.
“This is the best show on TV.
The audience is really going to enjoy it.
I’ve been a huge fan of the movies for years, and the series has just been so great to me.
I love the fact that it’s based on real life.
“I can’t wait to see what the new cast is up to.” “

Krasinskis first big screen appearance came in 2005’s “Man of Steel,” in which he played Lex Luthor, played by Henry Cavill.
He has also appeared as Lex Luthor in the hit TV series “Supergirl,” “The Walking Dead” and the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
“The new series is a very unique and special series, and we’re looking forward to getting it out there in a big way,” Vaughn said.
He also added, “It’s very exciting to be working with John and Matthew on this series.”
